Yutong Bus' (SHA:600066) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half slipped 3.5% to 1.87 billion yuan from 1.94 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Tuesday.

Earnings per share fell year on year to 0.84 yuan from 0.87 yuan.

Operating revenue rose 3.7% to 16.7 billion yuan from 16.1 billion yuan in the previous year.

The Chinese bus maker's shares dropped 3% during the midday trade.
