Becton, Dickinson (BDX) said Wednesday it completed enrollment in a trial evaluating Phasix Mesh for preventing incisional hernias.
The company said the study enrolled 477 patients across 32 sites in the US and Europe and will evaluate the use of resorbable mesh to prevent incisional hernias.
Patients will be followed through the trial's primary endpoint at 24 months, with longer-term follow-up planned for five years, the company said.
