Verisk Analytics (VRSK) was ordered by a judge to try and complete its $2.35 billion acquisition of roofing software company AccuLynx, seven months after the company abandoned the deal, Reuters reported Friday.
The Delaware judge said the deal termination was invalid Verisk's "willful conduct" triggered the failure of a closing condition, the report said.
The judge said that AccuLynx is entitled to damages, the report said.
Shares of the company were down 3% in Monday's premarket trading.
Verisk and AccuLynx did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
