AmpliTech (AMPG) reported a Q2 loss late Thursday of $0.12 per diluted share, widening from a loss of $0.08 a year earlier.

One analyst polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.02.

Revenue for the three months ended June 30 was $8.1 million, down from $11 million a year earlier.

One analyst expected $8 million.

Shares of the company declined nearly 19% in after-hours trading.
