A2Z Cust2Mate Solutions (AZ) shares rose 16% on Thursday, a day after the company posted better-than-expected Q2 results.

The company reported a Q2 loss late Wednesday of $0.16 per diluted share, narrowing from a loss of $0.31 a year earlier.

Two analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.18.

Revenue for the three months ended June 30 was $5.9 million, up from $1.2 million a year earlier.

Two analysts expected $3.5 million.
