Shengyi Technology's (SHA:600183) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half soared 130% to 3.29 billion yuan from 1.43 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a weekend disclosure on the Shanghai bourse filing.

The Chinese electronic components manufacturer's earnings per share surged 131% year on year to 1.36 yuan from 0.59 yuan.

Operating revenue jumped 50% to 19 billion yuan from 12.7 billion yuan in the previous year.
