Shares of Unifi rose after the company said one of its subsidiaries agreed to sell certain non-strategic real estate holdings to Enovum Data Centers for $60 million.

The stock climbed 8.8%, to $7.02, in premarket trading Monday. Through Friday's close, shares are up 84% year to date.

Unifi Manufacturing said it agreed to sell industrial and manufacturing building spaces, as well as certain land underlying and surrounding those spaces, all located in Yadkin County, North Carolina, for a cash purchase price of $60 million.

The transaction is expected to close 45 days after the expiration of an inspection period, currently set to end on Sept. 15, unless extended by Enovum.

Unifi said it plans to use net proceeds from the sale to repay a portion of the principal balance of term loans outstanding under an existing credit agreement.
