0720 GMT - European stock indexes are mixed, as markets continue to move sideways in muted trade. Autos are the leading sector as the Europe-wide Stoxx 600 is flat. London's FTSE 100 drops 0.2%, dragged by a 10% fall for JD Sports after the fashion retailer cut its guidance. Metals miners in the index also pull back. Germany's DAX loses 0.3% as software giant SAP loses 1.8%, though BMW and Continental gain. Autos also rise in Paris, where the CAC 40 is flat 0.1% as Stellantis and Renault gain 1.8% and 1.4%, respectively. Ferrari gains 1% as Italy's FTSE MIB gains 0.4%, while Spain's IBEX 35 gains 0.35%. The Dutch AEX is flat. Semiconductor stocks edge higher, though Aegon loses 2.9%.
