Shanghai BOCHU Electronic Technology's (SHA:688188) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half rose 23% to 787.2 million yuan from 640.1 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Tuesday.

Earnings per share climbed year on year to 1.94 yuan from 1.58 yuan.

Operating revenue increased 16% to 1.28 billion yuan from 1.10 billion yuan in the previous year.

The board of directors proposed to distribute a cash dividend of 5.82 yuan per 10 shares.

The Chinese laser cutting control equipment maker's shares rose 3% during the midday trade.
