Smartsens Technology Shanghai's (SHA:688213) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half jumped 33% to 528.4 million yuan from 396.9 million yuan a year earlier, according to a weekend disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.

The Chinese image sensor maker's shares slipped 1% at the close of Monday's trade.

Earnings per share increased 32% year on year to 1.31 yuan from 0.99 yuan.

Operating revenue rose 21% to 4.60 billion yuan from 3.79 billion yuan in the previous year.
