Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) reported high-grade assays from its first drilling program at the Peak Hill gold project in Western Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to four meters at 37.1 grams per tonne gold from 110 meters and three meters at 29.4 grams per tonne gold from 39 meters, with drilling also intersecting gold within the Jubilee dolerite at up to two meters at 33.6 grams per tonne gold, a unit previously interpreted as barren, the filing added.
The company said any drilling confirming continuity of grade within the Jubilee dolerite may represent additional resource growth, with first assays from the Golden Treasure area expected shortly.
The company's shares rose 2% in recent Monday trade.
