Mori Trust REIT (TYO:8961) has secured 15.5 billion yen in new borrowings to repay short-term loans of 5 billion yen and long-term loans of 10.5 billion yen, both maturing on Aug. 31.
The refinancing includes 9 billion yen in short-term loans from lenders including Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Mizuho Bank, and Resona Bank, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.
Another 6.5 billion yen in long-term loans is provided by MUFG Bank, The Nishi-Nippon City Bank, Development Bank of Japan, The 77 Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank.
A 500 million yen green loan from The Nishi-Nippon City Bank will refinance debt tied to Hotel Okura Kobe, a Green Building with DBJ 4-star certification.
