Weichai Power (SHE:000338, HKG:2338) reported 7.7 billion yuan in profit attributable to shareholders of the parent for the first half, compared with 5.64 billion yuan a year ago, a Thursday bourse filing showed.

EPS moved to 0.89 yuan from 0.65 yuan year over year.

For the six months ended June 30, revenue was 123.2 billion yuan, versus 113.2 billion yuan previously, the company, which engages in the automobile and equipment manufacturing industry, said.

The company proposed a dividend of 5.17 yuan per 10 shares for the period.
