Comfort Systems USA's (FIX) core data center customers have shown no indications of pausing, delaying or reconsidering projects amid the political and regulatory debate around data center development, Oppenheimer said in a Monday note.

The company has received direct reassurances from customers regarding future data center builds that are not yet in backlog, the investment firm said.

Analysts noted that some Texas data center participants could even seek to accelerate builds amid a pause in new connections, although capacity remains tight.

Oppenheimer said Comfort Systems USA's current pipeline is even stronger than earlier this year. Modular capacity expansion is progressing, with 4 million square feet expected by end of 2026 and 5 million square feet by spring 2027, according to the note.

Oppenheimer maintained its outperform rating and $2,400 price target on Comfort Systems USA.
