Lightbridge (LTBR) will participate in the US Department of Energy's Nuclear Energy Launch Pad program at Idaho National Laboratory, the company said Monday.

The selection is a step toward receiving authorization for Lightbridge to design, build, and operate a dedicated facility at INL to build Lead Test Assemblies of Lightbridge Fuel.

The Nuclear Energy Launch Pad is part of the government's goal to expand nuclear energy usage.
