Meta Platforms (META) took down dozens of Facebook and Instagram ads after India warned that sexually explicit scam promotions were steering users to malware, Reuters reported Monday.
The ads linked to phishing sites and malicious Android apps capable of steal banking credentials and money, the report said.
Meta did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
