Chunghwa Precision Test Tech (TWO:6510) aims to increase its capacity by 50% in the first half of 2027 compared with August this year to meet rising customer demand, Taiwan News reported Wednesday, citing the company's president, Huang Shui-ke.

The testing equipment maker has already doubled its capacity from the end of 2025 to August, and with continued demand growth, Chunghwa Precision will expand its capacity through 2028, the executive was cited as saying in Semicon Taiwan, according to the report.

The company is also in talks with major cloud service providers, as part of the expansion of its application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) test interface business. With this, the revenue contribution of the ASIC business could outgrow the company's GPU test interface next year, the report said.
