Micron Technology was looking to end the week on a high note. The memory-chip company was benefiting from a broader stock and bond rally.
Micron shares were up 1.9% in premarket trading Friday, having risen 2.7% the past 5 days. The Friday move was broadly in line with the wider market, with futures tied to the Nasdaq 100 gaining 0.3%, as lower bond yields relieved pressure on technology stocks.
Among other memory-chip companies, American depositary receipts of SK Hynix were up 1.6% in the premarket and Sandisk was rising 2.6%.
