Shanghai Vital Deeptech (SHA:600641) proposed to issue offshore bonds worth up to $500 million, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.

The bonds will mature within five years.

Proceeds will be used for funding projects and other corporate purposes, debt repayment, and supplementing the company's working capital.

The real estate developer's shares dropped 5% during the afternoon trade.
