Nvidia (NVDA) has increased its equity investments more than ten-fold in the past year to $99 billion, as of July 26, CNBC reported Friday.
The company's equity investments last year totaled $7 billion and about $2.2 billion two years earlier, the report said.
However, the total still lags investments by Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL) and Amazon (AMZN), the report said.
Among the investments are the country's $12.9 billion acquisition of Hugging Face and stakes in Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI, Coreweave (CRWV), startups Lumentum, Coherent and Marvell, the report said.
Nvidia did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
