UBS (UBS) is facing renewed scrutiny from the US Senate over Credit Suisse's handling of Nazi-linked accounts, with the Senate Judiciary Committee seeking responses after determining the bank had not fully addressed its earlier requests, Bloomberg reported.

US Senator Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, who chairs the committee, said in a July 17 letter that UBS's previous responses failed to address all of the panel's questions, according to the report. The letter included 62 questions for the bank, according to Bloomberg.

UBS is preparing a response, the report said, citing a person familiar with the matter.

Grassley plans to hold another hearing, although no date has been set, and is seeking to establish a historical archive of Credit Suisse records related to the Nazi-linked accounts.

UBS did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
