Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (ASR) and Motiva Infraestrutura de Mobilidade said late Tuesday in a statement that, following the satisfaction of all conditions under the agreement dated Nov. 18, 2025, Grupo Aeroportuario has acquired Motiva's entire equity interest in Companhia de Participacoes em Concessoes, a Motiva subsidiary, for 5.1 billion Brazilian reais ($992.2 million).
The transaction was financed through a loan facility that was arranged when Grupo Aeroportuario submitted its offer to Motiva, according to the statement.
As a result of the transaction, Grupo Aeroportuario added 20 airports across four markets in Latin America and the Caribbean, including Brazil, to its portfolio, the statement added.
