Blackstone (BX) and Apollo Global Management (APO) are among the private equity firms mulling bids for Syensqo's performance and care unit, which could be valued at 3 billion euros ($3.5 billion) or more in a deal, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Cinven, Advent and Bain Capital are also considering bids for the division, which sells chemical products to customers in the consumer care, agriculture, coatings and mining sectors, the report said, citing the people.
