The National Stock Exchange of India is expected to price its initial public offering between 1,700 Indian rupees and 1,785 rupees per share, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The reported range is lower than the earlier marketed range of 2,000 rupees to 2,100 rupees.

The proposed pricing band would value India's stock exchange operator at about 4.42 trillion rupees, down from its earlier marketed valuation of 5.26 trillion rupees, the report said.

The NSE did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
