Black Cat Syndicate (ASX:BC8) said a 56-hole extensional and infill drill program at the Trojan deposit, part of the Kal East gold operation in Western Australia, resulted in mineralization being intersected outside the current resource and the mineralized footprint being extended, according to a Thursday ASX filing.

This included intercepts of 13 meters at 1.79 grams per tonne grade of gold from 237 meters, six meters at 2.58 g/t grade of gold from 251 meters, and three meters at 6.88 g/t grade of gold from 142 meters.

Further extensional drilling, targeting the shallow flat-lying oxide mineralization in the southeastern part of the deposit, is being planned.

Its shares fell 1% in recent trading on Thursday.
