Bessent highlighted investment accounts crafted by the administration for children under the age of 18. He also painted a bleak picture of the past before Trump was president and warned about a bleak future if progressive Democrats take control of Congress. "Let's not be lulled into thinking our work is over. In fact, it's only just begun. The radical left is relentless in their pursuit to remake America in the image of every socialist hellscape of the last century," Bessent told the crowd in Texas.
