ZenaTech (ZENA) said Thursday that its Drone as a Service subsidiary received approval from the Irish Aviation Authority to provide large-scale agricultural drone services in Ireland.

The company said the approval, granted under European Union Aviation Safety Agency guidelines, allows ZenaDrone to use drones to apply fertilizer, lime, biostimulants and spread other non-plant-protection products on farmland.

ZenaTech said the service can help farmers reduce fertilizer use, operating costs and workers' exposure while reaching areas that are difficult for heavy machinery to access, as well as granular spreading at scale.

The company said it plans to use the regulatory approval to expand its Drone as a Service business in Ireland and other markets, with applications also planned for forestry, renewable energy, construction and infrastructure monitoring.
