Encounter Resources (ASX:ENR) intersected end-of-hole niobium mineralization at the Joyce prospect, within the Aileron project in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

Air-core drilling returned four meters at 2.4% niobium pentoxide from 40 meters to the end of hole and six meters at 1.3% niobium pentoxide from 88 meters to the end of hole, the filing said.

Further results from the prospect are anticipated in October, per the filing.

Shares rose 6% in morning trade Monday.
