GE Healthcare Technologies (GEHC) has launched CareIntellect for Operations, a cloud-based software intended to support hospital administrators in managing patient flow and staffing, the company said Tuesday.
The technology can help hospitals respond to changing conditions and improve the use of existing resources. By analyzing data on patient admissions, bed availability, and transfers, among others, the system can help streamline patient discharges and reduce wait times, the company said.
The Queen's Health Systems in Hawaii and Duke Health in North Carolina will be the first health systems to implement the application, the company said.
