Santacruz Silver Acquires 500-Tpd Bolivia Milling Facility for $14 Million

Santacruz Silver Mining (SCZM) completed the acquisition of a 500-tonne-per-day milling facility in Bolivia for a total investment of approximately $14.0 million.

The facility includes two 250-tpd processing circuits and will be dedicated to ore from Santacruz's San Lucas subsidiary, freeing capacity at its three existing processing facilities for the company's own mines, the company said.

The facility is expected to be commissioned in Q4 2026 and reach commercial production by year-end, it added. Santacruz said it has paid $4.6 million of the $9.2 million purchase price, with the balance due Nov. 8.
