Bristol Myers Squibb's (BMY) two-year phase 3 POETYK PsA-2 data showed durable efficacy and a consistent safety profile for Sotyktu in adults with active psoriatic arthritis, the company said Thursday.

The continuous Sotyktu treatment resulted in Week 104 ACR 20/50/70 response rates of 76.2%, 52.6% and 34.6%, respectively, with 51.2% achieving Minimal Disease Activity.

Results were also sustained among patients who switched from placebo to Sotyktu at Week 16, the company said.

Sotyktu was well tolerated through Week 104, with no new safety signals identified, the company said. Among 604 patients, adverse events occurred in 86.6%, serious adverse events in 12.6%, and events leading to discontinuation in 7.6%, the company added.

The results were presented at the Congress of Clinical Rheumatology-West meeting in California.
