J.Jill (JILL) filed a registration statement late Wednesday for the sale of up to 5 million common shares by the company and up to around 7.3 million shares by the selling stockholder.

J.Jill will use the net proceeds from the sale of common shares offered by the company for general corporate purposes, but won't receive any proceeds from the resale of shares by the selling stockholder.
