Comstock shares rose after the company said its solar-panel recycling production system is now operating continuously at its Silver Springs, Nev., facility.

The stock was 5% higher, at $2.76, in morning trade, and is 25% lower in the past 12 months.

The company said the Silver Springs facility recycles end-of-life solar panels, and will now be ramped up to meet increasingly higher customer volume demands.
