QUALCOMM (QCOM) on Tuesday unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 mobile platforms, expanding its flagship chip lineup.

Both platforms are built on a 2nm-class process with the company's Oryon CPU, Adreno GPU, and Hexagon NPU, and feature AI, gaming, camera, and connectivity upgrades, the company said.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, Qualcomm's mobile platform, adds Adreno Neural Fusion for AI-enhanced graphics and Intelligent Pixel Control for improved imaging, according to the company.

Devices powered by the new platforms will debut in flagship smartphones from HONOR, iQOO, Motorola, OnePlus, OPPO, REDMI, RedMagic, vivo, and Xiaomi, Qualcomm said.
