Forrestania Resources (ASX:FRS) reported a mineral resource estimate for the British Hill deposit in Western Australia of 4.12 million tonnes at 1.6 grams per tonne gold for 212,400 ounces of gold at a 0.5 g/t cut-off, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The company said the update represents a 21% increase following the inclusion of results from 15 additional reverse circulation (RC) drill holes, with indicated resources of almost 2.7 million tonnes at 1.62 g/t gold for 138,100 ounces, a 37% increase in higher-confidence indicated resources from the previous estimate.

The balance of the current drilling program is continuing with three RC rigs and one diamond rig focused on extending mineralization along strike and down-dip, the filing added.
