President Donald Trump announced on X on September 24 that Türkiye and Bangladesh have placed orders for a total of 111 Boeing airplanes, with options for an additional 50 aircraft. Trump called it a "BIG DAY FOR BOEING AND AMERICAN MANUFACTURING!" and said the deal, supported by Howard Lutnick and the Department of Commerce, amounts to "TENS of BILLIONS of Dollars in Sales" and "huge U.S. Exports," supporting tens of thousands of American jobs.
"The Market is recognizing what Boeing and I have known all along: When you BUILD IN AMERICA, EXPORT FROM AMERICA, and SUPPORT AMERICAN WORKERS, you make your Company stronger," Trump wrote. He congratulated Boeing and its workforce.
