Ondas has acquired three defense technology companies, called Insignito, Ottopia Defense, and Caribou Labs, for a total of $56 million.

The company announced the acquisition spree Wednesday morning, saying the deals would bring field-deployed and mission-ready capabilities and strengthen its integrated technological solutions.

Insignito uses acoustic sensing to detect and track drones, Ottopia's software connects remote operators and command centers with unmanned vehicles, and Caribou Labs builds communications tools that can work independently of GPS, Ondas said. The company said it will integrate the acquired technologies across its portfolio.

"These acquisitions reflect our strategy of assembling the critical technologies required to make autonomous systems more capable, resilient and scalable in contested environments," Chief Executive Eric Brock said. "Together, these businesses give Ondas more to sell and more ways to win."

The company said its purchase price of $56 million, in cash or stock, represents less than three times the businesses' projected revenue in 2027, according to its forecasts. The deals also include up to $32 million total in potential earnout consideration, contingent on performance milestones through 2028.
