Samsung Electro-Mechanics (KRX:009150) said its unit Samsung Electro-Mechanics Vietnam will invest 2.510 trillion won to acquire tangible assets for factory expansion in Vietnam, according to a Monday filing with the Korea Exchange.

The transaction will help expand an existing package substrate plant site and represents 103.4% of the unit's total assets.

The acquisition is scheduled to be completed on April 30, 2028.
