TotalEnergies (TTE) and partners SOCAR and XRG have taken the final investment decision for the full field development of the Absheron gas and condensate field in the Caspian Sea, the company said Saturday.

The full development will raise overall field production to 6 billion cubic meters of gas annually and 47,000 barrels per day of condensate.

The companies expect project start-up in 2029, supplying gas to the domestic market and exported to Turkey.
