Cboe Global Markets (CBOE) and Robinhood Markets (HOOD) plan to introduce a new category of binary contracts linked to company-specific key performance indicators in October, the companies said Wednesday.
Cboe plans to initially list contracts tied to 23 US-listed companies, with Robinhood as the first retail broker, and both companies will waive fees through the end of 2026.
The KPI contracts will let investors trade specific company metrics and corporate events through SEC-regulated products traded on Cboe's registered US securities exchange, the companies added.
Robinhood Markets shares were up 5.3% in premarket activity.
