Ameriprise Financial's (AMP) board has approved a $5.5 billion increase to the company's share repurchase authorization, through Sept. 30, 2028, the company said late Tuesday.

As of June 30, the company had about $1.1 billion remaining under an April 2025 authorization, which remains available through June 30, 2027, it said.
