Hyundai Motor (KRX:005380) sold 307,998 vehicles globally in September, a 16% year-on-year decline.

Domestic sales fell nearly 26% year-over-year to 49,022 units, while overseas sales dropped 14% to 258,976 units, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.

For the cumulative January-September period, total global sales reached 2.89 million vehicles, down 7% from the same period last year.

Cumulative domestic sales were 448,181 units, a 16% year-over-year decline, and cumulative overseas sales totalled 2.44 million units, down 5.1%.
