Dynatrace (DT) could benefit from rising demand for artificial intelligence "observability," with its acquisition of Arize strengthening its competitive position and supporting high-teens annual recurring revenue growth over the next few years, UBS Securities said in a report emailed Thursday.
Checks indicated AI observability could grow to 20% to 25% of total observability spending over the "next few years," potentially adding several percentage points to revenue and ARR growth for Dynatrace and Datadog (DDOG), the report said.
The firm said Arize could contribute $40 million to $50 million of net new ARR in fiscal 2028, while broader adoption of "AI observability" across Dynatrace's installed base could add about 3 to 4 percentage points to revenue and ARR growth in coming years.
UBS said checks with four Fortune 500 Arize customers made it more positive on the AI observability opportunity and the strategic rationale for the acquisition, with all four expecting an aggressive spending ramp over the next several years.
UBS maintained a buy rating on Dynatrace and raised its price target to $74 from $65.
