Hebei Haiwei Electronic New Material Technology (HKG:9609) committed 100 million yuan to a venture capital fund focused on artificial intelligence and frontier technologies, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The fund has a target size of 3.10 billion yuan and will invest primarily in large-model development, hardware manufacturing, and AI applications across biopharma, technology, and consumer sectors.

Hebei Haiwei will fund the investment with internal resources and said it aims to diversify its investment portfolio and access opportunities in AI and related technologies.
