Nexalis Therapeutics (ASX:NX1) appointed Niv Dagan to succeed Sean Williams as non-executive chairman, effective Friday, according to a same-day filing with the Australian bourse.

Williams, who has served in the role since July 2021, is resigning to focus on other business commitments and family matters, per the filing.

Dagan is the founder and executive director of boutique investment firm Peak Asset Management, the clinical-stage drug development company said. He is also currently the non-executive chairman of Spenda (ASX:SPX).
