Hanmi Semiconductor (KRX:042700) secured a 24.5 billion won contract from Samsung Electro-Mechanics (KRX:009150) to supply large-area micro SAW & Vision placement (MSVP) equipment for AI semiconductor substrate manufacturing, according to a filing with the Korea Exchange on Tuesday.
The South Korean electronic component maker said the contract represents 4.24% of its 2025 sales. The contract period runs till Dec. 17, 2027.
Shares of Hanmi Semiconductor added over 2% in recent trading, while those of Samsung Electro-Mechanics jumped nearly 6%.
