Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, BRK.B) acquired additional Lennar (LEN) shares in a series of transactions on Oct. 1 and 2, lifting its holdings to 28.4 million class A shares and 568,028 class B shares, the insurance and investment firm disclosed Monday in a Form 4 filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

The purchases covered both class A and class B shares at prices ranging from $77.12 to $81.90 apiece, the filing showed.
