Saluda Medical (ASX:SLD) began the full US commercial release of its CAP24 surgical paddle lead following US Food and Drug Administration approval earlier this year, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The paddle lead is now available to neurosurgery and orthopedic spine practices across the US, expanding access to the surgical segment, the company said.

The company said CAP24 is the first and only FDA-approved surgical paddle lead purpose-built for physiologic, dose-controlled closed-loop therapy.
