Singapore stocks slid more than 3% on Thursday, tracking regional losses as rising crude oil prices continued to dampen investor sentiment.

The Straits Times Index (STI), a key benchmark for the Singapore Exchange, ranged between 5,592.53 and 5,407.26 throughout the day. It ended the session at 5,412.96, down 195.48 points or 3.5% compared to Wednesday's close.

On the corporate front, shares of Rex International (SGX:5WH) closed nearly 4% higher as its owner purported to terminate a charterparty dated July 10, 2025, but the charterers dispute the owners' right to terminate the agreement.

Chasen Holdings (SGX:5NV) closed over 3% higher as its specialist relocation business segment has secured new projects worth SG$23.6 million in the second quarter across two local and three overseas subsidiaries.

Meanwhile, CapAllianz Holdings (SGX:594) has received SGX‑ST approval to list and quote up to 1.93 billion new shares for a proposed placement
