Press Release: Algoma Central Corporation Increases Quarterly Dividend and Declares Special Dividend

ST. CATHARINES, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--October 07, 2026-- 

Algoma Central Corporation ("Algoma", the "Company") (TSX: ALC) today announced that its Board of Directors (the "Board") has increased the Company's regular quarterly dividend by $0.10 per common share, or approximately 48%, to $0.31 per common share from $0.21 per common share. The Board has also declared a special dividend of $1.00 per common share.

The regular quarterly dividend of $0.31 per common share will be paid on December 1, 2026, to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 17, 2026.

In addition, the special dividend of $1.00 per common share will be paid on October 21, 2026, to shareholders of record at the close of business on October 15, 2026.
